Elder Rico Griffith
SENIOR PASTOR
Elder Rico Griffith is a distinguished native of the Josey-Hill/Pie Corner community, where he received his early spiritual formation at the Salvation Army Josey-Hill Corps. During his early teenage years, he became a member of the United Holy Church of America, marking the beginning of a lifelong commitment to Christian service.
He holds a Diploma in Theology from the United Holy Church Bible School, Barbados Campus, an institution affiliated with the United Christian College in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Elder Griffith has served faithfully at the Bennett’s Temple Church in numerous leadership capacities, demonstrating steadfast dedication to the advancement of the ministry.
He presently serves as the Senior Pastor of the Pie Corner assembly in St. Lucy, where he is recognized for his innovative leadership and Spirit-led approach to ministry. His commitment to excellence and his capacity for visionary, transformative thinking continue to impact the lives of those he shepherds.
In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Elder Griffith is a career banker by profession. He is married to Minister Karin Griffith, and together they are the proud parents of Amariah Gabrielle and Liam Gabriel.
Minister Karin Griffith
FIRST LADY
Minister Karin Griffith is a devoted servant of God, gifted songwriter, and talented musician. A graduate of the United Holy Church Bible School with a Diploma in Theology, she has dedicated her life to worship, ministry, and the development of others within the Kingdom of God.
She currently serves as the Women’s Ministry Director at NewLife Community, offering strong leadership, spiritual guidance, and compassionate mentorship to the women of the assembly. Prior to this role, she faithfully served as Sunday School Superintendent for more than six years, demonstrating excellence in Christian education and discipleship.
Minister Griffith is also a recording artist, having released two impactful singles: “Forever Praise Your Name” and “The Great I Am.” Her music reflects her deep passion for worship and her desire to lead others into meaningful encounters with God.
She is the loving wife of Elder Rico Griffith and the proud mother of their two children, Amariah Gabrielle and Liam Gabriel.
